Services

Five families. Distinct needs, connected when required.

A project may begin with a question to clarify, a measurement to perform, a system to design, an environment to monitor or work to prepare in the field. MAJ Solutions presents its services in five families to make the scope easier to understand and show the possible connections between disciplines.

01

Five service families by technical need

Each service family corresponds to a type of technical need and a scope of work.

Choose the situation that matches the need

This mapping supports orientation. The exact scope is defined for each assignment.

Corresponding service family

Engineering and advisory

If you need to assess an idea, size an installation or prepare for implementation

Clarify the project before committing to implementation. An assignment may cover needs analysis, feasibility, sizing, electrical design, automation studies, technical interfaces or preparation of the documents and tests required.

Configurable systems

If you need to automate a sequence or configure a system around a specific operation

Design and integrate a system around a use case, sequence or expected operation.

Thermal mapping

If you need to characterise the temperature or humidity of equipment, an area or a means of transport

Measure and document the actual behaviour of equipment, a storage area, a controlled environment or a means of transport.

EMS engineering

If you need to design, develop, document or qualify an environmental monitoring system

Design, develop, integrate, document or qualify an environmental monitoring system.

Industrial electrical works

If you need to prepare an installation, modification, diagnosis or on-site commissioning activity

Prepare and carry out work on site, within the agreed scope.

Connections between the service families

An engineering study may prepare electrical implementation or a configurable system. Thermal mapping may inform the design or qualification of an EMS. Commissioning may combine design, automation, electrical work, testing and documentation.

Cross-functional expertise, depending on the assignment

  • project governance and coordination
  • electrical design, automation and EMS integration
  • preparation or support for factory and site testing
  • commissioning, diagnostics and field execution
  • documentation, EMS qualification and computerised systems validation
  • start-up preparation or stabilisation support where included in the scope

These connections make it possible to define a coherent scope. The expertise involved is specified for each assignment.

Services and expertise answer different questions

Services are organised around technical needs, systems, measurements or work to be carried out. Expertise corresponds to a responsibility, a capability or a project phase. The same project may combine a service with one or more complementary areas of expertise.

Expertise is a category distinct from the five service families.

Environments and applicable requirements

In pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing, healthcare, laboratories, food production or controlled environments, constraints may concern safety, continuity of operations, quality, traceability or documentation. The level of control depends on the use case, site, system and requirements that actually apply.

Working framework

  • frame: understand the need, context, degree of urgency and available information
  • define: clarify the scope, interfaces, responsibilities and expected deliverables
  • deliver: study, design, integrate, measure or work on site according to the defined scope
  • verify: perform or support the planned controls, tests or reviews
  • hand over and commission: provide the agreed elements and organise the following steps where they form part of the assignment

This framework adapts to the relevant service and the agreed scope.

Does your need cross several disciplines?

Tell us about the context, current stage and expected outcome. An initial discussion will help identify the most relevant starting point and the interfaces that need clarification.
